We specialise in exquisite hand-woven silk scarves, shawls and other accessories from ethical sources in Cambodia.

Following the turbulent closing decades of the 20th century when many traditional skills were very nearly lost, Cambodian silk weaving is now enjoying a gradual revival. Cambodia has had a deep cultural influence on the region over many hundreds of years, and silk woven there is renowned for its fine workmanship. These unique pieces , entirely hand-woven by artisans on wooden looms, are examples of techniques which have been handed down for centuries.

All our silk is fairly traded with organisations that train and rehabilitate victims of land mines and polio as well as providing employment to other disadvantaged Cambodians. This enables them to earn a viable living instead of depending on charity.
